User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design
User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design
We as Medyasoft take into consideration the target audience in every aspect of our projects and shape our work based on user data.
In our User Experience Design [UX] and User Interface Design [UI] work, we follow certain steps in all our projects.
User Experience Design [UX]
The user experience design work we do prior to interface design can be detailed as follows:
- Inspection and classification of information architecture.
- Creation of draft screenshots (user scenarios, general templates, content templates, menu navigation scenarios).
- Interviews with project stakeholders.
- Research of samples in the sector and analysis of the competition.
User Interface Design [UI]
The user interface design work we do following the user experience design can be detailed as follows:
- Corporate identity analysis (logo, colours, fonts etc.).
- Creation of the visual design concept.
- Development of user interface designs parallel to digital trends.
- Interactive presentation of the prepared design via a prototyping tool.
- Formation of a detailed guide that contains an interface kit which includes all the material used in the user interface design and explains the usability criteria of the design.
Apart from all these, more comprehensive user experience design work can also be done. Examples of such work:
- Interviews with specific users. Pinpointing people who represent end-users and interviewing the people who have been picked.
- Establishing behavioural user types based on both stakeholder and end-user interviews. Forming a report based on the needs and expectations of these end-users.
- Persona analysis in accordance with user interviews. Forming a prototype based on this analysis. Development of a new user experience concept based on work such as usability testing, information architecture identification and inspection run on the prototype.
- Workshops held with project partners.
- Using techniques such as card sorting and tree testing on the information architecture so that navigation and site maps are organized in a way that makes sense to end-users and are user-friendly.
- Usability Testing. Choosing users for the test, forming scenarios, user sessions with shared screens, recording sound and screens, forming usability test reports and handing out QUIS questionnaires and reporting on them.
- A/B Testing. Preparing several screens for the application and determining which is most preferred by users.
