Turkey Open Source Platform Meeting Held

The first meeting of the Open Source Platform formed to develop the software ecosystem in Turkey was held in the Presidential Office in Dolmabahçe with the participation of the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, Medyasoft General Manager İhsan Taşer, many public, NGO and private sector senior managers.

The Turkish Open Source Platform aims to increase the number and quality of software developers and the security of the software being used, to decrease licensing costs and foreign dependence, make Turkey a strong global player in the field of software and find effective solutions to destructive technologies.
