AnadoluJet website and online services infrastructure has been renewed within 1 year
The AnadoluJet website was renewed with the Unigate infrastructure developed by Medyasoft Digital and improvements were made on the website and ticketing numbers via the online services infrastructure.
AnadoluJet is a Turkish Airlines trademark established in 2008, based in Ankara to meet Anatolia's airline transportation needs in a more affordable way and bring air travel to a vast majority of public. AnadoluJet continues its journey that began with the motto “May everyone fly!” in the Anatolian skies as an airline brand that operates reciprocal flights on 69 routes at 41 airports with a fleet of 37 aircrafts, continuously expanding its flight network.
In line with the ever-changing trends, business models and varying customer needs, a customer-oriented site that would reflect AnadoluJet in corporate and functional terms had become an essential necessity.
The existing site could not meet requirements such as compatibility with mobile devices, performance, ease of use, fast and functional control panel, access to instant logs, service integration capability and personalization. As an outcome of these problems, the ticket purchase rates on the site were behind targets. Not renewing the current web site entailed the risks of customer dissatisfaction and losing potential customers. When sales could not be made on the website, they were made on other online site or via the agencies, resulting in commission fees.
AnadoluJet initiated the process to renew its website in order to prevent all these setbacks and chose Medyasoft Digital as a partner on this journey due to the company’s approach to questions and problems as a solution partner to Turkish Airlines for many years and its resulting familiarity with aviation.
The project was finalized in a total of 4 different phases with the Unigate Content Management System infrastructure developed by Medyasoft Digital and currently utilized in more than 150 corporate clients:
In Phase 1, the corporate site and current online services pages were served in a similar visual outlook as the new design works.
In Phase 2, the structure for Baggage Tracking, Departure Arrival and Online Check-in was established.
In Phase 3, the infrastructure for Timetable, Additional Services, Jet Genç Award Tickets, Online Tickets, Flight Management, and Promocode sections was set up.
In Phase 4, the Customer Relations Center, Personalization and Reporting efforts were carried out.
Following all these phases carried out with the collaboration of AnadoluJet and Medyasoft Digital Project teams:
The percentage of ticketing via the website increased.
The processes could be carried out with a modern service infrastructure and design without any functional changes.
A powerful log tracking mechanism was set up.
Thanks to a more efficient content management system, dominance and capabilities in the site were increased before a new package was released.
A customizable web experience was offered to passengers.
Customer Opinion:
“Medyasoft has strengthened its long-time solution partnership with Turkish Airlines with this project, thanks to its proactive management perspective and positive approach to the challenges faced.
The approaches adopted by Medyasoft not only in project management but also in design, requirement and test processes and the fact that it adopted the project like a project owner rather than a project stakeholder have resulted in the satisfaction of the part of customers, strengthening its bonds with Medyasoft which it views as a business partner.”
