Takasbank Website is Online with Its New Design and Unigate Infrastructure

Takas İstanbul (Takasbank) corporate website has been renewed with a minimalist design based on user experience and Unigate Content Management System infrastructure, obtaining a modern, mobile-friendly look.

Since 1922, Takas İstanbul has been offering reliable, effective, innovative services in trade, banking and central risk management which are of international quality standarts, and it still continues to operate with its vision of being a preferred institution in international markets as well. The development of projects in accordance with the current and future demands and needs of customers consisting of financial intermediaries, stock markets and other capital market institutions; providing solutions that will increase the effectiveness of the financial system in clearing, storage and related banking services and applications; and a customer-focused approach is adopted with the principles of working in solidarity in a cooperative environment.

The prevention of the user-experience problems in the existing website was targeted with a website that would be renewed based on this approach. The users were not able to reach the information they looked for since the existent website lacked an easy navigation system, an efficient in-site search function, and mobile compatibility. The statistics which are among the most essential parts of the website were not able to meet the ever-changing user habits. In addition to these complications; management issues such as the long duration of the in-site updates due to infrastructure problems, the performance issues experienced on the statistics pages and the website have brought a new infrastructure and design need into the agenda.

Takas İstanbul preferred Medyasoft Digital in this project for its user experience design capabilities, large scale customer experience and Unigate content management system. The Unigate content management system, which is a user experience platform that provides fast, reliable, integrated channel solutions for large corporations in their digital transformation processes; fully satisfies the needs of Takas İstanbul and the visitors of its website.

In the analysis stage, which is one of the most important milestones of the project, the problems encountered were evaluated together with all the stakeholders of the project within the scope of the targets to be achieved, and a digital content strategy related to the assessment was established. The information architecture is explored and defined based on this strategy; and user concepts, navigation scenarios, as well as a graphic design concept compatible with the template designs, digital trends and mobile usage have been prepared.

The adaptation of the prepared designs to the infrastructure of the Unigate content management system and the subsequent entry of all contents allowed the new website and previously hard-to-reach documents such as guides, forms, regulations, procedures and directives to be turned into an easily accessible digital library with a navigation architecture that is compatible with the content strategy and user experience. As one of the most important sections of the Takas Istanbul website, statistics provide great benefits to users since it supports categorization, history-based filtering, dynamic graphics with modern designs and Excel file downloads. Through the use of applications such as e-bulletin, frequently asked questions, communication map, social media integration, career application forms; the communication channels with the website visitors have been diversified and strengthened.
